The Undo Posting utility allows you to undo completed (not incomplete) postings. The Undo Posting utility:
To undo incomplete postings, use the Incomplete Postings utility.
You cannot unpost a timesheet or labor adjustment run that includes paid hours. If an unposted timesheet includes unit amounts, you must manually delete the unit transaction file.
The Undo Posting utility excludes Accounts Payable Vouchers that are created from purchase orders. This restriction prevents Vision users from accidentally reversing the posting entries.
Click yes. If you need the file, it is available in the Transaction Center. If you don’t need the file, you can delete it in the Transaction Center.
If you are trying to unpost a recurring file, you will get the following message:
The Locked Transaction Files utility allows you to unlock transaction files that were left in a locked state because an error occurred. If you, or another Vision user, attempt to access a locked transaction file in a transaction center, Vision displays a message to explain that the file is locked.
Do not use Locked Transaction Files for any other purpose.
Be careful not to unlock files currently in use or currently posting.

If you resubmit only the unposted portion of the file, the file becomes available in the Transaction Center. Only the unposted transactions become editable in Transaction Entry. Posting attempts to post only the unposted transactions, using the original posting sequence.
You can print transaction lists for the transaction types that are available in Transaction Entry.
To undo completed postings, use the Undo Posting utility.
