As is common each year, numerous acquisitions by other companies help bolster revenues, however Accounting Today notes that many VARs benefited from an improved economy and adding niche-focused services. “Rather than focusing on acquiring other resellers,” said BCS ProSoft founder and CEO, Clark Haley, “we invested a lot of money and resources into expanding our most active markets in San Antonio, Houston, Denver and Honolulu.” “This is especially true for our offices in Honolulu, Hawaii and Denver, Colorado” added BCS ProSoft President, William Vespe. “We spent a lot of time looking for new staff to better serve our Sage 100 (MAS 90 and MAS 200) and Deltek Vision clients in those markets. We also started hosting regular user group meetings for these products and people seem to be getting a lot of value from them. Fortunately our investments paid off and our customers are utilizing our consulting resources in those locations.” Accounting Today also mentioned that the VAR 100 are beginning to see the benefits of new products and services that were added within the past couple of years.  Late last year NetSuite announced it’s partnership with BCS ProSoft in a high profile Press Release that made national headlines. “We recognize shifts in the market towards cloud-based ERP solutions and we evaluated many different software publishers,” said Haley. “Adding NetSuite to our portfolio of ERP products was by far the best option to continue our focus on the Wholesale Distribution and Light Manufacturing industries. And with Sage Software announcing the discontinuation of the Sage 500 ERP product line last year, our confidence with NetSuite was reinforced as a next generation solution for mid-market distributors. This is certainly proving true in our Houston and Denver offices.” As BCS Prosoft continues to grow and gain traction with it’s NetSuite ERP and Deltek Vision practices, they have vowed to continue to innovate their technology and services as well as deliver added value to their existing and new customers. “For more than a decade we have been the largest VAR in Texas and the certainly the regional leader in terms of product sales, consulting and other services,” said Vespe. “We are now the leading VAR in Hawaii for Sage Software, Deltek Vision and NetSuite and on our way to become the top VAR in Colorado.
