Beginning with version 4.40, MAS 90 and MAS 200 now allow for a 30 character inventory item code.
Please Note: Deciding to expand your customer number or item code is a business decision that will have significant impact on how your company uses the software. This decision is irreversible. It is highly important that your company first understands the impact of this change by selecting to expand the customer number and/or item code option in a Sample Test company and review the forms, reports, and data entry tasks your staff most frequently uses. The option to expand item codes is company specific, so you should consider setting up a test company, making the change, and then reviewing the affect of the expanded codes on your your data.
