Utilizing the My Tasks tab is a great way to create a custom menu in MAS 90 or MAS 200 that is unique to you. It is also a great way to create a check list of tasks for specific purposes, such as processing month/year end.
- My Tasks is located on the Business Desktop as a tab along with the Modules tab.
- The My Tasks tab is used to create public and private task folders that launch Sage MAS 90/200 tasks and external applications.
- To begin creating tasks, you will need to create a task folder on the My Tasks tab.
- Right-Click in the My Tasks area and choose New and Public or Private Private Folder.
- Once the folders are created, you can add tasks and programs to them.
- Tasks can be added by either right clicking on the folder and choosing New and Task or Program or by simply dragging and dropping tasks and programs into the various Task Folders.
- Creating Public Folders requires that a specific security event be enabled for modifying public tasks. If the user does not have the security rights to create/modify public tasks, the public folder option is not available from the menu.
