# Tips & Tricks #115 – Persistent Zoom Setting on Report Preview

The Report Preview option will allow you to predefine, by user, what magnification level to use when viewing Crystal Reports to your computer screen. To change the setting for a user:
1. Select Library Master > Main Menu > User Maintenance.
2. In the User Maintenance window, enter the user code that you want to set the Zoom Preference for.
3. Click on the Preferences Tab
4. At the Default Report Preview Zoom field, select the default zoom setting to use when previewing reports, listings, and forms.
5. Click Accept.
6. Select a report and run it to test that the zoom setting .
