MAS 90 and MAS 200 can be configured to use Windows Logon. When this is configured, the user does not have to enter a separate user name and password when logging on to their MAS 90/200 system. When they open MAS 90/200 it verifies their Windows logon and takes them right to the Sage Business Desktop.
- To turn on Unified Logon, go to Library Master | Setup | System Configuration
- On the Security Tab select the checkbox next to “Used Unified Logon.”
- When using Unified Logon, separate logons and passwords are not stored in Sage MAS 90/200.
- Sage Mas 90/200 authenticates the user’s Windows logon and password, therefore the user does not need to enter a separate long and password when accessing the program.
- To use Unified Logon, user must be set up on Sage MAS 90/200 with their Windows Logon name entered in the User Logon field in User Maintenance.
- If “Use Unified Logon” is selected, all options in the “Internal Security” box are disabled.
Note: If you use this feature, the Administrator Logon feature is disabled.
Note: Users should be trained to logoff their computer when leaving their desks.
