Tips & Tricks #20 - System Activity Log | BCS ProSoft

Written by kgraf | 7/28/10 7:00 AM

The System Activity Log has always been useful for tracking the root of specific problems within the system. Beginning with Version 4.0, the log was enhanced to include additional useful information and selection criteria.

  • Select Library Master | Reports | Activity Log

  • The Log can be searched by a Date range, User Login, or Company Code. You can also pick to show All Activity, Show Error Activity, or Show Non-Error Activity Only.
  • Clicking on the header names (Date/Time, User, Error etc.) sorts on that column. The triangle informs you if it is Ascending or Descending. Clicking on a currently sorted header reverses the sort order.
  • By clicking on the printer icon located on the bottom right hand corner of the screen, the log can be printed.

Kathi Graf, Senior Support Technician

Kathi Graf, Senior Support Technician for BCS ProSoft has been a MAS user for over 20 years, which means that she started out on the old blue DOS screens (for those of you that have been around long enough to remember). She brings her experience and love for helping people to work with her everyday and says that her goal is to help her customers resolve their issues as fast and simply as possible.

Kathi has been married for 29 years to her high school sweetheart, Larry, and together they have two fantastic kids that are currently attending college. She loves to run and has completed a full marathon as well as seven half marathons. When she’s not helping her customers or running, she enjoys needlepoint and crochet. Kathi also loves soccer and still donates her time to the local soccer leagues, even though her children have graduated and moved on.
